FESTIVE FEAR OR MISSING OUT

FOMO. Fear of missing out. This feeling we all relate to in some ways, or many, is taken to a new level during Christmas time. We want to be everywhere and do everything that others are doing, and when we actually manage to show up, we feel that other people are having better conversations, and more fun in the same room.

I have recently come across its remedy – JOMO. The joy of missing out. As a true Law of Attraction practitioner, and minimalist, I want to believe that this will cure all our stress connected to FOMO, as it completely focuses on positive energies, all that we will receive, rather than what we don’t want to attract. While still being in the process of reading all about it, trying to implement it in my life, I want to provide you with my current affirmations. So I repeat these to myself when my FOMO is extra triggered. Basically all of December.

  • I am in love with, and excited about, my very own journey.
  • I am exactly where I am meant to be right now.
  • Everyone has their own journey.
  • My jealousy is perfectly hinting at what I want to create in my own life. (I will go create it NOW.)

Now go out and own the joy of missing out!
